THE FOLLOWING IS TAKEN FROM THE CONSTIUTION AND OUTLINES
THE VARIOUS TYPES OF MEMBERSHIPS AVAILABLE.
Eligibility Anyone 16 years of age or older
interested in Flat Coat Retrievers and interested in encouraging responsible ownership of the breed is eligible for membership. Membership
year shall be March 1 to the last day of Feb in the following year.
There shall be two types of membership open to
persons who 16 years of age or older:
(a) A Single membership open to persons 16 years of age and older who reside
in Alberta This member has one vote, and is defined as and includes those persons residing at the same address. The member
must be a member of the Canadian Kennel Club or there may not be any factors that would prevent the member from being able
to join the Canadian Kennel Club. CURRENT YEARLY FEE FOR DUES IS $15.00 (b) A family membership open to individuals
16 years or older who reside in Alberta. This membership will allow two votes for the household. cURRENTLY YEARLY DUE FOR
FEES IS $20.00
A third membership, a Newsletter membership open to persons of all ages and people residing outside
the province of Alberta. A newsletter member cannot vote or hold office and does not count in the determination of a quorum.
Dues are set to cover the cost of printing and postal expenses. CURRENT YEARLY DUES FOR THE CLUB ARE $10.00
